Could you be our next Director of Marketing? 

Serving over 2 million customers a day across more than 1000 restaurants nationally, McDonald’s Australia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing professional to join the team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team, overseeing media, digital, value and sponsorship portfolios with a focus on achieving and sustaining long-term brand equity and profitable growth. In an agile marketing landscape, you will play a critical role in driving forward one of the world’s most iconic brands.

What can you expect on a day-to-day basis? 

  • Providing strategic guidance and overseeing the media, digital, value and sponsorship teams.
  • Developing and executing targeted marketing initiatives to drive incremental transactions and profitable sales across our Restaurants nationally.  
  • Demonstrating purposeful leadership to maintain a high performing team and continually develop talent.
  • Building strong interpersonal relationships across all three legs of the stool, Licensees, Employees and Suppliers to ensure effective partnerships and collaboration.
  • Leveraging data from our insights team to underpin decision making.
  • Staying connected to emerging customer trends to ensure our offering remains relevant and impactful.
Qualifications:

Your keys to success: 

  • Significant Marketing experience preferably within industries such as retail, FMCG or QSR.
  • Previous experience in a senior management role overseeing a similar portfolio and leading a team in a high growth organisation.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex operating environment requiring significant stakeholder engagement and buy-in.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage an audience.
  • Skilled negotiator and sound decision-making ability.
